Drowning Desire

He woke up to see the sea frozen. The waves were all gone. It was a never ending white piece of land. Smooth and beautiful. He brought his skates and started moving. Starting with the rhythm of a butterfly and moving to the hasteness of a leopard. He felt like a bird, being in a clear sky, moving where he felt like, turning when he wished. A couple of other birds joined in. Someone started playing a piano and the trio’s movements turned into dance, waving together, bending together, swirling together. The flock started becoming large. Big drums joined the piano, there was a flute too. The big troupe was skating, dancing and singing, a sight to see, a sight to remember. Hundreds of them, moving in resonance, beating with the music, seemed perfectly choreographed. Hundreds turned into millions, the birds into buzzing bees. Suddenly the sun arrived, the ice melted and everyone was engulfed. The waves were back.

The Truth of Death

He loved staring at the shining sun. He loved gazing at the luminous moon too. But it was the sun which kept reminding him of the existence of clouds.

Shining Differently

When a glacier melts for the first time, hundreds of sparkling water drops start moving together deciding where they have to go, while they move, which would then become their home for hundreds of years to come, and nobody would remember them as sparkling water drops, but a long shining sheet of glass, a bit less exuberant but everlasting.

The Time Paradox

He spent three hours with her, felt like three minutes, but she had to go. He gave a look to put any water freezing, but she couldn’t look in his eyes, she knew she’d melt. She went away. He kept sitting on the rock, looking at the skies. He still remembered those three seconds. He tried remembering such three second encounters in his life so far. The incidents which came to his mind everytime he closed his eyes. There were seven or perhaps eight. Twenty four years, eight three-second-encounters. Three years each. Suddenly the event seemed so long, living a complete life through eight of them.

Thinking Randomly

When you sit and think that you need to think about something, you start thinking the reason why thinking has been thought of by that someone who thinks about everyone. If this does not make you think, you need to start thinking fast, everyone will stop thinking about you really soon.
